On the morning of September 13, "Big Game 2019" – a game of both physical and mental training, was organized for the new students of K69.

Taking place during the Mid-Autumn festival, at the Hanoi National University of Education campus, team sport games were arranged such as shuttlecock, football, an obstacle course, etc. Big Game 2019 celebrated not only the coming of the Mid-Autumn festival, but also invited the new students on campus to interact more closely with their lecturers and fellow students.

At the Opening Ceremony, 7 teachers each managed one level of “Big game 2019”, but representativestudents of K66, K67 and K68 all helped to support the 8 teams of K69. At 8 o’clock sharp, the race was launched by Dean of Faculty, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Lan Hung Son.

The seven stations of Big Game 2019 were located at 7 different places within Hanoi National University of Education including: the Experimental Garden of Biological faculty, the student dormitory,K building, 11/10Hall, D building, the Principal building, and the Library. This is an opportunity for new students to learn more about their Faculty, and their University - which over time, will become more familiar, more memorable, and of course, more and morecherished.

Students completed these 7 challenges withvigor, intelligence, and determination, but team-working skills were the distinguishing factor of the winning teams. Of course, it wasn’t just the students of K69 who worked together, but lecturers who served as station leaders, as well as upper-class students were crucial to the execution of this event. Their supports, and encouragement was highly valued by K69!

After more than 2 hours, the Big Game 2019 organizers found the first team to complete the challenges put forth by all 7 departments was “Xanh dương” from class K69A. “Tiểu Bạch Thỏ”, the team from K69 CLC class got second prize. Teams “Doremon” and “Đoàn kết” (K69A) also completed the 7 tasks, however, were a bit slower, and received Third Prize. The remaining four teams competed valiantly and received Encouragement of the Race.

Through “Big Game 2019”, new students of K69 in the Faculty of Biology had the opportunity to sit, share and overcome challenges together. Not only that, the students were able to interact with the upperclassmen and the lovely lecturers of the Faculty of Biology. After this program, and all the laughter that came with it, the new students eliminated their initial shyness with friends and other members of class, and now feel more bonded not only to each other, but also their Faculty. The organizers hope that "Big Game 2019" has left K69 with unforgettable memories in the heartof every student. Please continue to keep giving your best effortsto our future events!
