  • Researching, Training (undergraduate students, graduate students, ...) in the fields of ecology and environment
  • Main equipments of the laboratory: biological/microbial growth system, water environment parameter analysis system, spectrophotometer, ion chromatography system, dry oven, refrigerator, animal and plant tissue analysis, distillation machine, basic measuring devices (pH value, electronic balance...)

5. Research projects implemented at the laboratory

  • Building capacity for sustainable interactions with marine ecosystems for the benefit of the health, well-being, food security and livelihoods of coastal communities in East and Southeast Asia [Chương trình UKRI/GCRF Blue Communities].
  • Development of systems for cultivation, propagation and biomass and flavonoids production of medicinal Drynaria fern species [IFS fund].
  • Transformation of ectoine biosynthesis genes into rice cells to improve salt tolerance, heat and cold tolerance [Ministry of Education and Training Project level].
  • Research on inhibiting the growth of toxic algae that cause environmental pollution.
