In the first part, each institute was introduced about themselves. After that, each participant had 1 minute of self-introduction.

After the break, Associate Professor Midori Iida and Assistant Professor Kenji Toyota held the first course “Diversity of marine animals in Sado Island”. In the first part, Assoc. Prof. Midori Iida shared about the classification and diversity of marine animals in Sado Island. The island has various enviroments, such as coast, lakes, landform, etc. Because of that, there are various animals that adapt to each environment. In the second part, Asst. Prof. Kenji Toyota talked about the biodiversity and the evolutionary of marine animals, from phylum Porifera up to phylum Chordata. With each phylum, he also showed pictures and introduced about their characteristics that reveal the evolution and classification.

In the last part of this online course, Asst Prof. Kẹni Toyota presented about the fertilization and development of the sea urchin. In this part, beside the presentation, he also let participants observe a real, living sea urchin in the laboratory of SMBS.

To summarize, the Sakura Online Practical Course has been successfully completed. This course is really attractive to everyone because of all the information it gives to participants. The course is a connection between Hanoi National University of Education and Niigita University and other institutes for future cooperation, giving students the opportunity to exchange and expand their knowledge.
