Both sides presented introductory reports on their respective departments as well as specialized research reports. The seminar hall was nearly full, with numerous faculty members, researchers, and students in attendance. Each presentation was followed by a discussion, with many questions raised by participants, facilitating the exchange of valuable organizational and technical information.
The seminar began with a welcome introduction by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Lân Hùng Sơn, followed by two specialized presentations from doctoral students of the Department of Biological Sciences at Nara Women’s University.
PhD student Ayu Joho presented her research on the impact of triterpene biosynthesis on the cell structure of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
PhD student Momoka Yamamoto presented an analysis of potential genes involved in the sexual reproduction of Blepharisma stoltei.

Next, faculty members and students from the Department of Biology at Hanoi National University of Education shared their reports:
Dr. Triệu Anh Trung introduced the research directions of the Department of Genetics-Biochemistry, Department of Biology, HNUE.
Student Lê Thị Phương presented her study on the antibacterial properties of silver nanoparticles and xanthones extracted from the mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana).
Dr. Vũ Thị Bích Huyền reported on the cloning and expression of membrane proteins from Vibrio alginolyticus and evaluated the immune response in Epinephelus coioides.
At the end of the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Trần Thị Thanh Huyền, on behalf of the Department of Biology at HNUE, presented a souvenir gift to Professor Satoshi Kagiwada’s team.
