On behalf of the Faculty of Biology, HNUE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son, the Dean warmly welcomed the delegation from the College of Natural Sciences to visit and discuss further collaborations. Later, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son briefly introduced information, such as mission, faculty members, research and training fields of seven departments in the faculty.
From the EWU side, Prof. In-sang YANG also expressed his pleasure to visit the Falcuty of Biology. Prof. YANG also shared some information about the College of Natural Sciences and especially in research areas of Life Sciences, which is related to those in the Falcuty of Biology. The college was established in 1951, consisting of five main fields and four related fields with 15 research centers, including Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences. Several fields in Division of Life Sciences are related to what members of the Faculty of Biology are working on. The following link details about information of professors and their research fields (here).
Assoc. Prof. SON and Prof. YANG strongly believed that the cooperation between the two institutes will start smoothly and bring great opportunities for academic exchanges, collaborative research projects and training programs. Following meeting in the room, the delegates of the two sides had a short faculty tour in several labs and the experimental garden. The distinguished guests really enjoyed exploring biological research and training in the Faculty of Biology (HNUE).
We are looking forward to obtaining interesting achievements in the near future.
