1st Guidance: for FSci International Internship Program 2019 at Faculty of Science (FSci), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand

Successful candidate will receive academic research training in laboratory along with learning new culture from international friends.

Grants Detail:

For no more than two selected students:

1. Dormitory at KMUTT

2. Research equipment

3. Health and accident insurance

For third selected Student or more or all other students

The student has to pay an amount of 30,000 THB to participate in this program. The fees will cover for Dormitory at KMUTT, Research equipment, and Health and accident insurance during the program.

All students have to be responsible for his or her own living allowance and all other expenditure by themselves. No tuition fee is charged in this program

* Program duration not exceeding 2 months- from 20 June to 20 August 2019. The arrival of the students to KMUTT, Bangkok should be between June 18-19 and the departure between August 21-22, 2019.

** FSci has the final authority for acceptance and scholarship decision

***Please note that all the international students joining this program have to be responsible for the following expenditure by themselves:

1. Passport fee

2. Entrance visa fee to Thailand

3. Round-trip flight tickets (or other means of transportations from home country to Thailand)

4. Other personal expenses

Qualifications:

1. Currently an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Student

2. Age above 18

3. Must be proficient in English language.

4. Physically and mentally fit with no contagious disease, disability or condition.

Credit authorization

FSci, KMUTT will issue a certificate during the closing ceremony, which certifies that students have participated in FSci International Internship Program 2019. If home university authorizes the program as an internship/other course, the student will earn credits according to home university. The authorization of the credits is at the discretion of home university, and FSci, KMUTT will not be able to interfere with the decision.

Proposed all required documents by partner universities and pass the approval from Faculty of Science, KMUTT.

PHASE 3: (Between March 21-24, 2019)

Interview through skype (if require by advisors)

PHASE 4 :

Shortlisted candidates selected by

Faculty of Science, KMUTT (Deadline : March 31, 2019)

The grant recipients will be announced and International Internship

Program 2019 Acceptance Form will be delivered to all grant recipients.

PHASE 5 :**

All Required Documents for the

grant recipients (Deadline : April 11, 2019)

4.1) The announced successful candidates confirm authorization by submitting the International Internship Program 2019 Acceptance Form. 4.2) If the recipient does not have a passport,please apply for one immediately. If the recipient has a passport,please check the expiration date. The passport should have the validity of at least 6 months at the time of departure.

PHASE 6 : **

Second-Round Applying Process (Deadline : April 20, 2019)

Proposed all required documents by partner universities and pass

the approval from Faculty of Science, KMUTT.

PHASE 7: ** (Between April 21-23, 2019)

Interview through skype (if require by advisors)

Shortlisted candidates selected by Faculty of Science, KMUTT (Deadline : April 27, 2019)

The grant recipients will be announced and International Internship

Program 2019 Acceptance Form will be delivered to all grant recipients.

PHASE 9 : **

All Required Documents for the grant recipients

(Deadline : May 5, 2019)

4.1) The announced successful candidates confirm authorization by submitting the International Internship Program 2019 Acceptance Form. 4.2) If the recipient does not have a passport, please apply for one immediately. If the recipient has a passport, please check the expiration date. The passport should have the validity of at least 6 months at the time of departure.

** Second-Round Application will only be opened if there is availability

Note: The application form and all required documents (No. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 1.6 and 1.7) of the nominated students must be signed to certify true copy by the student and scan all documents into one PDF file. Applications must be filled out completely, include all required documents

be received at FSci, KMUTT on or before the deadline: March 20, 2019

Grant recipients will be announced by March 31, 2019.
